Not unusual in my line of work, but a most unusual fashion show. For one thing, it started on time. From couture shows in Paris to humble mini shows in Singapore, no one starts on time. What an experience!! The best part was having my beautiful sister model too. She did a fantastic job, Letitia you're a natural. It's nice to be so involved and do more than just turn up for hair and make up and walk the ramp. Bubbly from Looks(www.looks.com.sg) conceptualised the show and we did everything from scratch. We had 2 hours of sleep the day before the show, so much needed to be done! And we did it!! I'm so happy it turned out to be a success. We have one more show coming up in August that will be bigger and better, I can't wait! Will post the date and time it will be aired on Sun TV once I find out. Chirpy is a 12 year King Charles Spaniel that the owner decided to put to sleep after he was no longer useful. The owner used him all his life as a stud to breed and sell puppies and now that he was old, they didn't want him anymore. Fortunately, a lady called Stephanie rescued him and put him in boarding initially. The cheapskate owner didn't even want to help with the boarding fees ! Well, lucky Chirpy found a great home with Angela now, who also has another old King Charles and they have become fast friends !   Our next phase involves raising more money through the Foundation Fund to build up the ARC and keep the place running. Our immediate priority to raise about $9000 now to tile the domitories so that the maintenance will be easier and cleaner and the dogs will be more comfortable. The weather was surprisingly good this time. Not much of that foggy overtone it usually has. The beautiful blue sky enabled us to see across Hong Kong island to Kowloon. As usual, a trip to any of my favourite asian countries means seeing my favourite Miss World girlfriends. In this case, the lucky winner is Miss Hong Kong, the angelic, Janet. Guy and I met with her very interesting boyfriend, Chester who had just returned from London where he smashed 2 cars while racing..I'm not even going to mentioned how much that cost him, or should I say his dad, who happens to be a racer himself. They brought us out to a chinese restaurant, I forget what it's called, where we had a few courses of food including sharks fin.
