Colleen Francisca, our own Singapore girl, former New Paper New Face and reigning Miss Singapore World meets England captain John Terry and defensive teammate Rio Ferdinand in Manchester, UK. Fresh from the Miss World pageant, Colleen visited England for some well deserved rest and recuperation. While there she caught up with JT and Rio whilst promoting her charity causes in Asia. Rio Ferdinand and John Terry are investors in a new development called The Cove, Krabi, and Rio supported by John will provide soccer schools for underprivileged children in the Krabi area of Thailand and for that reason Colleen has chosen to promote this project as part of her charity work during her reign as Miss Singapore World.

Colleen told us she was delighted to meet the England players and commented on how charming and friendly they were. They exchanged views on supporting charities and discussed the Miss World pageant in Poland. Rio Ferdinand holds the view that he should give back to under privileged children because of his own experiences whilst growing up in the East End of London.

Colleen was invited to watch the England game against Macedonia at to Old Trafford tonight, but will be back in time to judge the New Paper New Face finals on Friday.
