I had the honour of opening the ITFA , as well as train the models and choreograph the show. What an experience!!
The best part was having my beautiful sister model too. She did a fantastic job, Letitia you're a natural.

It's nice to be so involved and do more than just turn up for hair and make up and walk the ramp.
Bubbly from Looks(www.looks.com.sg) conceptualised the show and we did everything from scratch. We had 2 hours of sleep the day before the show, so much needed to be done! And we did it!!

I'm so happy it turned out to be a success. We have one more show coming up in August that will be bigger and better, I can't wait!

Will post the date and time it will be aired on Sun TV once I find out. Also these are just the few candid backstage pictures, will be getting the ones from the official photographer soon.

Wah! This is awesome!
You don't have to speak the Language... All you need to do is chew gums and they'll get someone to give the voice.... Quick! Grab the offers and get us the premier tickets...
I can easily imagine you doing glamour roles....

Isn't it compulsory to take a second language "Mother Tongue" subject in school?
I presume you took Tamil in school or do they taught you Malayalam rather than the other non-Tamil Indian languages such as Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi or Urdu?
It would be nice if (Singapore's own) beautiful, elegant you make it big in Kollywood.

And yeah, as what Vig said, u dont need to know the language , they usually do a dub over, like when I did my little stint for bollywood, even tho I speak the language fluently, i had a little "foreign slang" according to them and they still dubbed over heheheheh Go for it babes!!!

I just heard that there's a small write up on the show in the Straits Times today.

It said that one of the highlights was the fashion show. I'm so relieved they liked it.

I didn't know whether my idea was too out there for the audience to appreciate.

When I saw the stage we were supposed to use I decided otherwise and used the aisles

in-between the audience. So I had the models walk out from the side of the stage and into the

audience. The feedback I'm hearing now from the directors and so on is amazing. So much so

that we got the deal for choreographing another big show in August.

You must try to catch it on Sun TV..

And Yes, of course if I ever do make it, you'll be first on the list for front row tickets. ;D

Haha!! Yes it's the classic pose of bossing everyone around backstage. ;D

Actually, I find it very difficult to tell people what to do. I had to get used to the fact that all the models were relying on me for direction and instruction. It was overwhelming!!!

But when I heard the crowd was just over 5,800, the ''Project Leader'' mode just took over. No time for distractions. The show MUST go on!

Yes, she is a DARLING. She even tied the sari I was wearing for me. No airs about her at all, super humble and friendly, and it helps that she's eye candy too.

It signifies the direction to look at to find a stud.

wow 5800! That must have been quite the turn out! where was this thing held that could accomadate such a big crowd? Nah not a pose for bossing around, i know i've seen a model do that pose before on a big campaign sometime ago....just can't remember when and what exactly...time to do some digging...But i have say the pose does look good on you :)

My beautiful sister. I literally will take my 'hat' off to you! What a fantastic job choreographing the fashion show. Not only choreographing but handling 26 models - to choosing the music - to having two hours of sleep just the day before the show organising everything that was not done! And look at you above - In simple words - Born Beautiful! No one could have done it better. Really. I am so proud of you. My first show with you and i loved every second of it just becaue you're around. Thank you.

Oh, in case they're looking for someone to fit into a small role (ie: villain's sidekick,kidnapper, etc) or one of those who dun have to speak much of a dialog and gets killed early in the movie..... You know who to call...

The highlight of IFTA awards was watching Colleen Francisca doing the opening act, in stunning chilly red sequins sari and gorgeous BIG Hair! :)

Models ,outfit, hair, makeup and above all choreography was simple superb!

Shirin Rei gives a double thumbs up!
